
There are few pleasures more sublime than fine artisan meats, smoked fish, terrines and pates. At Fox & Obel, we search the world to find the finest, most unique products, currently offering eleven varieties of cured ham including Italian prosciutto, Spanish jamon and German speck, seven or eight kinds of caviar and nine types of smoked and cured salmon (five which we slice to order by hand). You'll also find at least a dozen savory pates and terrines each day for easy entertaining.
In our delicatessen, the pastrami and corned beef come directly from New York City. Our smoked turkey comes right from our hard wood smoker. We carry sausages and bacon from all over the world, including hard to find guancialle - which is hand made in New York.
As the personal tastes of our customers expand, so does our selection. Someone who came in last month looking for Italian white or black truffles might come in next month interested in kippered salmon. Some of the more unique offerings include saffron and beet caviar, Spanish white anchovies, Italian tuna in extra virgin olive oil and balsamic marinated cippolini onions.
