There are few pleasures more sublime than fine artisan meats, smoked fish, terrines and pâtés. We search the world to find the finest, most unique products, currently offering a wide variety of cured ham including Italian prosciutto, Spanish jamon and German speck; several kinds of caviar; and an assortment of smoked and cured salmon that you will not find anywhere else in Chicago, five of which we hand slice to order. You’ll also find at least a dozen savory pâtés and terrines each day for easy entertaining.
In our delicatessen, we offer the best sandwich fixins available from the Midwest, New York and the world. Our smoked turkey comes right from our own hard-wood smoker. We carry sausages and bacon from all over the world, including hard-to-find guanciale, a delicacy of the Umbria and Latzio regions of central Italy.
As the personal tastes of our customers expand, so does our selection. Someone who came in last month looking for Italian white or black truffles might come in next month interested in kippered salmon. Some of the more unique offerings of our charcuterie collection include Spanish white anchovies, oven roasted marinated tomatoes and balsamic marinated cipollini onions.
